Three drugs warrants carried out in Middlesbrough resulted in the recovery of suspected class B and C drugs.
On Friday 12th January, warrants were carried out on Glentworth Avenue and Midville Walk in the Netherfields area.
From an address on Glentworth Avenue, a small amount of cannabis was seized and a woman was dealt with by community resolution.
At Midville Walk, officers seized suspected class C tablets. A 34-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply class C drugs and later bailed whilst enquiries continue.
A third warrant was carried out on Saturday 13th January on Mary Jacques Court in the Longlands and Beechwood ward.
No drugs were located at this address.
Officers continue to monitor these areas and are linking in with local authority colleagues and housing agencies, and welcome information from the local community in relation to any ongoing issues in the area.
Anyone with information regarding drugs activity in their local area is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, or contact Crimestoppers anonymously online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling 0800 555 111.
