Two men aged 45 and 44 have been charged with nine offences of burglary, following several break ins to Store 21 on Redcar High Street over the weekend of Friday 15 to Sunday 17 December.
Thousands of pounds worth of equipment including tools, fixtures and flooring was stolen from the premises whilst it was undergoing renovations.
The 45-year-old man was charged to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court yesterday morning, Thursday 4 January, and the 44-year-old man charged to appear this morning, Friday 5 January.
