Two people have been charged with drug offences after officers from Stockton's Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) stopped a vehicle in Billingham.
The vehicle was stopped on High Grange Avenue, Billingham, on the evening of Sunday 14th January and officers carried out a search.
Approximately £1,000 worth of suspected cocaine was seized and officers arrested a 32-year-old man and a 31-year-old woman.
They were both charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and they are both due to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court today (15th January).
