A 43-year-old man suffered a head injury in an assault in Berwick Hills, Middlesbrough, on Saturday 27th July.
Police received a report of an ongoing altercation involving a large group of people just after 6pm on Millbrook Avenue.
Ambulance service colleagues took the man to hospital with a head injury. He is described as being in a “stable” condition and remains there whilst receiving treatment.
A man aged 23 was arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding and a 58 year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray. A woman aged 57 was also arrested on suspicion of affray. All three remain in police custody at this time.
