Officers on an arrest attempt in Redcar on Friday afternoon (5th July), used a drone to apprehend a man who fled when he saw officers.
As soon as the officers turned up at the address, the wanted man ran out of the house and ran off. However, the Neighbourhood Team were one step ahead with a drone already up above the property.
They tracked the man with their eye in the sky, and directed officers to him, where he was arrested and detained to appear at court, wanted on warrant.
