Redcar’s Proactive Team seized two off-road bikes and a suspected stolen motorbike during patrols across the Redcar and Cleveland area.
The patrols were conducted after residents reported issues around motorbikes being driven dangerously in the area.
Two off-road bikes made off from officers in the Bankfields area of Eston. One bike was recovered close by and the second was recovered from an address in Grangetown.
A suspected stolen motorbike was later recovered in the alleyway between Scott Street and Soppett Street in Redcar.
The 41-year-old rider was arrested on suspicion of theft of the motorbike, drug driving, no license and no insurance. He was bailed pending further enquiries. A second man, aged 38, was also arrested on prison recall.
