Officers from Hartlepool Neighbourhood Team attended a special event at the weekend, in honour of a little boy from Hartlepool who loves superheroes and police.
Eight-year-old Riley Bains had his leg amputated a year ago after battling cancer. Sadly Riley and his family found out recently that the cancer had returned. Despite being extremely poorly, Riley continues to smile.
In an effort to create the biggest and best superhero party for little Riley, family member Stephen Picton invited all superheroes including our local Neighbourhood Policing Team and officers from The Matrix to an event at The Steelworks Club on Westbourne Road in the town, on Saturday 6th July.
We hope Riley enjoyed his special day meeting the superheroes!
