Two teenage boys have been arrested after a report of a stolen motorbike in Middlesbrough.
Around 4:40pm on Tuesday 30th July, officers received a report of a motorbike stolen from the Parkway Centre in Coulby Newham.
The same day, around 7:50pm, officers received a report of the same suspected stolen motorbike being at Sainsbury’s on Wilson Street in the town centre.
Response officers attended and arrested two males aged 16 and 17 on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, no insurance and no licence. Both have been bailed whilst enquiries continue.
The motorbike was recovered.
