Officers are appealing to trace the owner of this suspected stolen bike which was recovered by officers in Middlesbrough this weekend.
On Saturday 27th July, officers from Middlesbrough Proactive Team and the Matrix Team arrested a 23-year-old man on Parliament Road, Newport, on suspicion of theft of a pedal bike and recovered suspected crack cocaine from him after a search.
The man is now charged with possession of class A drugs.
The man was in company with another 44-year-old man who made off from police and was arrested on Addison Stret. Upon searching him, he was also found to be in possession of suspected crack cocaine.
The 44-year-old man has been remanded in custody after being charged with possession of class A drugs and breach of bail. He will be recalled to prison after being wanted for this offence.
Anyone with information regarding the owner of the below bike (a Felt Decree 2) is asked to call Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 142248.
