Cleveland Police is appealing for information and any relevant dashcam footage after five cars were damaged and a driver was injured when rocks were thrown from a bridge in Middlesbrough.
The incident occurred at around 7.10pm on Tuesday 25th June on the Ormesby Cobblestone rail bridge which runs over the A174.
It was reported that a man was throwing large stones at vehicles travelling along the A174.
Five vehicles were damaged and a driver sustained facial injuries as a result of being struck in the face by a stone which penetrated the windscreen of their vehicle.
This is an extremely serious incident and officers are urging any witnesses or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 119609.
