The incident happened around 1:50pm on Wednesday 19th June at James Cook University Hospital V3 car park (to the left of A&E near the Endeavour Unit), involving an 85-year-old male pedestrian and a taxi.
The driver of the taxi got out and helped the man to his feet, although he left without leaving any details.
The elderly pedestrian suffered extensive bruising to his hip, left arm and bad grazes.
