Appeal after death of a man in Hartlepool.

Police were called by ambulance service colleagues to an address on Wynyard Road in Hartlepool at around 12.45pm yesterday (Monday 17^th June) as they were tending to a man who was seriously unwell.

Very sadly the 28-year-old man was pronounced deceased at the scene. His death is currently being treated as unexplained. His next of kin have been notified and a post mortem examination will take place.

A 45-year-old man and a 34-year-old woman have been arrested in connection with the man’s death and they are being questioned by detectives from Hartlepool CID while enquiries continue.

Police are asking anyone with information relating to the circumstances of the man’s death to get in touch.
