Appeal after man, 62, injured in assault, Eston.

Officers are appealing for information, doorbell, dashcam or CCTV footage as an investigation continues into an assault which left a 62-year-old man receiving hospital treatment.

It happened at around 5.20pm on Saturday 15^th June outside the Sainsbury’s store on Bankfields Road, Eston when the victim was assaulted by another man and sustained serious facial injuries which were treated in hospital overnight.

Police believe a number of members of the public were in the area at the time and would ask them, as well as anyone else with information/footage to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 112273.
