Cleveland Police is appealing for information and any witnesses following a two-vehicle collision on the A19 northbound.
The collision occurred at around 12.15pm on Sunday 23rd June along the A19 northbound from the A1027 towards the A689 and involved a Fiat and a BMW motorbike.
It was reported that a cycle rack carrying three push bikes came loose from the Fiat and fell onto the carriageway. The driver was reported for having an insecure load.
The motorbike collided with the pushbikes and the rider fell off, coming to stop following a short distance.
The rider suffered broken ribs, a fractured collar bone, a fractured arm and a punctured lung.
Officers are urging anyone with dash camera footage or information to contact 101, quoting reference 117839.
