Police are appealing for information after an incident between two vehicles on Ambleside Road in Normanby at 5.30pm last night, Tuesday 11th June.
An altercation took place between the drivers of a silver Mercedes and a silver Corsa, and a 75-year-old man was left with a cut to his head.
A 17-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of assault and taken to police custody for questioning.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the assault, or who has dashcam, ring doorbell or CCTV footage, to call 101 quoting reference number SE24109387.
