Officers from Guisborough’s Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) seized a cannabis farm believed to be worth more than £100,000.
The team attended Farndale Drive in Guisborough at around 10.10am on Wednesday 12th June following intelligence from the community and located a cannabis farm with 128 plants.
Electrics in the property had been bypassed and were made safe by electricity board colleagues.
Enquiries are ongoing to identify those involved, and officers would encourage anyone with information to call Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 109766.
NPT Inspector Neil Deluce said: “I’d like to thank the local community for their support in helping us tackle drug dealing and associated crime in Guisborough.
“I hope this reassures the public that we can and will take action against criminals. Please keep reporting incidents to police so we can continue to disrupt those causing harm.”
Anyone who may have information regarding drugs activity in their local area is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101 or contact Crimestoppers anonymously online at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by calling 0800 555 111.
