Are you concerned about a potential or current partner, or do you have concerns regarding your ex-partner that you still have contact with, maybe because you share children?
If you’re worried someone may be at risk or a person poses a risk to another, you can ask us for a disclosure under ‘Clare’s Law’.
This means you can ask both for yourself, but also if you are concerned about an associate, friend or relative who may be at risk.
If we have information that the person does pose a risk to you, we will talk to you about it.
If we have information that they pose a risk to another we will talk to them.
This allows us to inform people of risks from an individual that they may not previously have been aware of. It empowers you or a person you care about, to make fully informed decisions around a relationship.
