The 30-year-old man, of no fixed address, was charged in the early hours of Thursday 6 June after being arrested on suspicion of affray.
He was also charged with dangerous driving, no insurance, failing to stop for police as well as an assault, aggravated burglary and possession of a knife.
Following the charge, he was remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today (Thursday 6 June).
The charges relate to an affray that occurred on Whitby Close in Skelton on Monday 3 June. The assault, aggravated burglary and possession of a knife is in connection with an incident that occurred on Mordales Drive in Marske on Tuesday 4 June.
