A 28-year-old man has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today (Friday 28th June).
The charge follows a reported incident in Wrensfield Road, Stockton, on Wednesday 26th June around 6:40pm, whereby a 23-year-old man suffered serious injuries and was taken to hospital where he died a short time later.
Officers will remain in the area over the coming days as enquiries continue.
