Redcar's Proactive Team recover stolen bikes during day of action

Redcar’s Proactive Team have been busy tackling issues raised by the community about motorbikes being driven dangerously in the local area.

During a day of action on Wednesday 5^th June, officers conducted patrols around the Dormanstown area of Redcar and carried out a number of stop searches.

Two suspected stolen motorbikes were recovered and enquiries are currently ongoing. Officers were assisted on the day by partner agencies.

An 18-year-old man who was wanted in connection with a number of offences including an affray was also arrested by officers.
