You’ve told us the issues you want us to tackle…here is the update on what action our officers have carried out.
Antisocial behaviour and off-road bikes are the issues mostly affecting residents of the town, particularly in the Headland area. Additional proactive patrols and a focus on the Headland and Central Estate areas were introduced, and 18 Community Protection Orders have been issued.
Retail crime continued to be an issue on the agenda for the people of Hartlepool. Neighbourhood officers have been carrying out proactive patrols, whilst PCSOs have been holding pop-up shops in local stores to deter thieves and gather intelligence.
The production and distribution of drugs across the town remains a high priority for Neighbourhood Policing, with 12 drugs warrants executed over the last three months at addresses including Tiverton Grove, Derwent Street, Wynyard Road, York Road and Wilson Street. Four addresses linked to drugs, crime and ASB have been subject to closure orders, including one address on Oxford Road.
