The short pursuit led to the vehicle being abandoned on Lythe Place, where the driver is believed to have made off onto Sandford Close then Newington Road, and is believed to have got into another white vehicle which drove away.
The driver is described as an adult male, wearing all dark clothing and a balaclava.
