Appeal to Trace Man after Report of Assault in Middlesbrough

Police are appealing to trace a man following a report of an assault in Middlesbrough on Saturday night (23^rd March).

Officers received a report of an assault outside The Empire on Corporation Road around 11:20pm.

Upon police arrival, the male victim had left the scene and enquiries have not yet led to him being traced. He is described as being aged in his early twenties, wearing dark clothing and possibly a white hooded top.

Officers would like to speak to this man in connection with the incident and to check on his welfare.

Police are liaising with the nightclub as enquiries continue.
