Police are appealing for witnesses after a man sustained stab wounds to his body and legs which are not life threatening.
He was injured during an incident on Wicklow Street in Middlesbrough, at around 8:50pm last night (Monday 18 March), then taken to hospital.
A man and a woman were arrested at the scene but were released soon after when it was established that they were not involved.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Police on 101.
