A dispersal order has been put in place this evening in the Netherfields area following reports of increased antisocial behaviour.
The 48-hour order will run from 10pm this evening (31st March) until 10pm on Tuesday 2nd April around the area of Vaughan Shops in Netherfields.
It applies to any public place bounded by Fulbeck Road, Sedgebrook Gardens, Stapleford Road, Midville Walk, Burwell Road, Althorpe Close and Cargo Fleet Lane.
The order gives officers the powers to ask anyone in large groups to leave the area for 48 hours. If they return they could be arrested for breaching the order.
Officers will be conducting high visibility patrols and anyone suspected of being involved in antisocial behaviour will be asked to leave the area.
Anyone who wishes to report antisocial behaviour is urged to call 101 and report it to us. Always call 999 in an emergency.
