Two PCSOs patrolling Fairfield in Stockton, on Saturday 23 March, spotted a car and a motorcycle parked behind the shops on Upsall Grove.
As they approached, two males fled the scene, leaving the car and the motorbike behind.
When police officer colleagues arrived and searched the car, they found a Tupperware box containing cash, scales and bags containing white powder.
The officers seized the black Nissan Qashqai and silver Honda motorcycle, and enquiries are continuing into the identities of the two men.
Sergeant Chris Williams of Stockton Neighbourhood Police said: “This was great work by our PCSOs, who are the eyes and ears of the community. Thankfully we have now removed drugs from the streets of Stockton, and vehicles suspected to of being involved in the distribution of drugs.
“Our work continues to remove drugs in these areas, to make our communities a safer place to live.
“We welcome information from members of the community on any suspicious activity where they live, whether this is suspected drugs activity or antisocial off-road bikes in the area. All information provided will help in our fight against crime in Stockton.”
Anyone with information on suspicious activity or antisocial behaviour can call 101 or report online at www.cleveland.police.uk
