Officers quickly deployed to Hartington Road at approximately 3pm on Thursday 14 March after CCTV operates spotted four men fighting in the street – one armed with a large knife.
Police flooded the area and following a foot chase the men were detained.
The knife and class A drugs were recovered beneath a parked car.
The men have been arrested and are currently in police custody while enquiries continue.
Sergeant Darren Williamson, of Stockton Police’s proactive team, said: “This is another example of outstanding teamwork to tackle serious violence and knife crime.
“Following the actions of the CCTV operator we were able to identify the men, detain them and recover the evidence, resulting in a large knife and class A drugs being removed from our streets and preventing escalation of potentially more serious offences.”
