Man Arrested in Connection with Reported Assault in Middlesbrough

A 39-year-old man has been arrested following a report of an assault outside The Empire on Corporation Road, Middlesbrough, around 11:20pm on Saturday 23^rd March.

The man was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and remains in police custody at this time.

Officers continue to appeal to trace a male victim, who left the scene prior to police arrival. He is described as being aged in his early twenties, wearing dark clothing and possibly a white hooded top.

Police would like to speak to this man in connection with the incident and to check on his welfare.
