A 39-year-old man has been arrested following a report of an assault outside The Empire on Corporation Road, Middlesbrough, around 11:20pm on Saturday 23rd March.
The man was arrested on suspicion of GBH with intent and remains in police custody at this time.
Officers continue to appeal to trace a male victim, who left the scene prior to police arrival. He is described as being aged in his early twenties, wearing dark clothing and possibly a white hooded top.
Police would like to speak to this man in connection with the incident and to check on his welfare.
Anyone who may know the identity of the male or anyone who may have further information, is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 53211.
