Cleveland Police is appealing for information and any witnesses following a collision involving a bicycle and a vehicle in Middlesbrough.
The collision occurred at the junction of Northern Road onto Acklam Road in Middlesbrough at around 9.30pm on Thursday 2nd May.
The cyclist was taken to James Cook University Hospital with injuries to his left hand.
The driver of the vehicle, believed to be a white Nissan, left the scene and officers are appealing for this person to contact Cleveland Police.
Officers are urging anyone with information or any relevant dashcam footage to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 081731.
