Police are appealing for information following a collision between a car and a motorbike on Cunningham Drive in Thornaby on the evening of Tuesday 30th April.
The Range Rover and bike collided at around 6:20pm, leaving the 30-year-old rider of the motorcycle with a broken leg.
He was taken to the hospital where he underwent surgery.
The 38-year-old woman driving the Range Rover was arrested in connection with the incident, and has since been bailed whilst officers carry out an investigation.
It is thought that a white vehicle may have also been involved in the incident, but did not remain at the scene. We would ask for the driver of this car to get in to touch with police as soon as possible.
Anyone with information, or anyone with dashcam footage of this incident is asked to call Police on 101 quoting reference 079071.
