A boy has been charged after officers from Middlesbrough’s Proactive Team sighted a suspected drug deal on Ingoldsby Road on Sunday 26th May.
Plain clothed officers stopped a male on a motorbike and seized a quantity of drugs, believed to be Class A and Class B, a large amount of cash and a lock knife.
A subsequent search of a property led officers to seize more drugs, believed to be Class C, a large knife and drug paraphernalia.
A 15-year-old boy was arrested and charged with two counts of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and possession with intent to supply C drugs, possession of Class B drugs, possession of a bladed article, assault on an emergency worker, driving otherwise in accordance with a licence and no insurance.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Monday (27th May) where he was bailed with conditions.
