A cannabis farm believed to be worth over £33,000 has been recovered in Middlesbrough.
Officers from Middlesbrough Proactive Team discovered the plants at a property on Laycock Street in Newport, Middlesbrough, after reports of suspicious activity at the address.
40 cannabis plants were located, believed to be worth up to £33,600, and the electricity had been bypassed at the address.
Enquiries are ongoing to identify those involved, and officers would encourage anyone with information to call Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 090830.
