A dispersal order has been put in place this afternoon in Guisborough to tackle anti-social behaviour in the area.
The order will run from 3pm this afternoon (3rd May) until 6am on Saturday (4th May) across Guisborough town centre.
It gives officers the powers to ask people to leave the area for the specified time period. If they return, they could be arrested for breaching the order.
The order is not to target those going about legitimate and lawful business. Anyone suspected of being involved in anti-social behaviour will be asked to leave the area.
Officers and PCSOs will be conducting high visibility patrols in the area. Anyone who wishes to report any issues or concerns is urged to call 101. Always call 999 in an emergency.
