The 25-year-old man who was arrested yesterday (Thursday 23 May) has been charged with Attempted Murder and will appear at court tomorrow (Saturday 25 May).
The 22-year-old man who was also arrested yesterday, has been released on police bail.
Enquiries are continuing into the incident which happened at an address on Hubbard Walk, Middlesbrough, around 8:20pm on Friday 17th May, which left a 35-year-old man with serious injuries.
The man remains in hospital receiving treatment.
