A 57-year-old man has appeared in court after being charged with possession of a firearm and possession with intent to supply Class A drugs.
Officers attended Broadway in Grangetown in the early hours of Friday morning (24th May) and recovered a firearm and suspected Class A drugs.
The man was charged and remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court this morning (25th May).
He was further remanded in custody until his next court appearance on 18th June.
Detectives are continuing their investigation into recent firearms offences in Grangetown, which has so far resulted in several arrests.
Officers will remain visible in the area and we would encourage anyone with information to contact police on 101.
