This large amount of heroin - worth just under £3, 500 - along with cash and a phone was seized by two Stockton NPT officers who reported seeing a man acting suspiciously in Hardwick last Wednesday (15th May).
A 36-year-old man was detained and searched, then arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug.
He was subsequently charged with that offence and remanded to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court the next day, from where he was once again remanded until his next appearance in June.
