A man is due to appear at Teesside Magistrates Court today, Monday 20th May, after being charged with a number of driving offences.
A suspected stolen Nissan Juke was spotted being driven in the Lansdowne Road area of Middlesbrough around 5pm on Friday 17th May, where officers located the vehicle abandoned and a male was arrested nearby.
A 33-year-old man was later charged with dangerous driving, two counts of driving whilst disqualified, two counts of no insurance, aggravated taking without consent (TWOC), and possession of an offensive weapon in a public place.
