A man is due in court after being arrested by Middlesbrough’s Proactive Team with the assistance of neighbourhood officers on Friday evening.
Middlesbrough Council’s CCTV operators alerted officers to suspicious activity on Parliament Road, Middlesbrough, at around 7.00pm on Friday 10th May.
Officers attended the scene and two men were arrested after suspected crack cocaine was recovered.
A 19-year-old man was arrested and charged with possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, possession of Class B drugs and possession of criminal property.
He was remanded in custody to appear at Teesside Magistrates’ Court on Monday 13th May.
A second 19-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs, and possession of criminal property. He was bailed pending further enquiries.
