Two men were arrested after officers from the Matrix Team spotted a suspected stolen vehicle on the A179.
Officers sighted the vehicle, which was reported stolen from an address in Hartlepool in the early hours of this morning (21st May), as it headed towards the A19.
Following a short pursuit, officers arrested two men and seized the vehicle.
A 31-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary, possession of a Class A drug, drug driving, dangerous driving, failure to stop, and failure to provide a specimen.
A 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of burglary. They both remain in police custody at this time.
