Akheel Khan, 24, from Wheatley Close in Middlesbrough was today sentenced to 15 months in prison for his part in violent disorder in the town on Sunday 4th August.
Around 8pm on 4th August, police observed a group of males near to Albert Park who were engaging in disorder, some armed with hammers and poles.
A number of the males were seen to get into a vehicle which when drove away, before crashing into another parked car and coming to a complete stop.
Khan was removed from the vehicle and arrested.
