Police are appealing after a 25-year-old man suffered a stab wound in the Hartlepool area this morning.
Around 8:55am today, Wednesday 6th November, officers received a report that a man had been stabbed on Kent Avenue.
He was taken to James Cook University Hospital by air ambulance.
His injuries are not believed to be life threatening at this time.
A 20-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of section 18 wounding and he remains in police custody at this time.
