Officers have received a number of reports of two males acting suspiciously in the Saltburn area overnight (Wednesday 13th November into Thursday 14th November).
The reports were made between 11:55pm and 2:30am this morning, between the areas of Hob Hill and the new build properties.
Police attended and a 16-year-old boy was arrested by officers on suspicion of attempted burglary. He remains in police custody at this time.
Officers would appeal to anyone in the area to check any doorbell footage or CCTV footage for any suspicious activity between these hours.
