34-year-old Ashley Ferguson, of Somerset Road in Middlesbrough, has been sentenced to 30 months in prison after being involved in violent disorder in Middlesbrough on 4th August.
Ferguson was identified by drone operators and police officers as being in possession of a 4ft wooden pole and was seen causing damage to property with the weapon and using it in a threatening manner towards police.
At Teesside Crown Court today, he was sentenced to 30 months in prison.
