Officers are appealing for witnesses, dash cam footage and private CCTV footage after a 40-year-old cyclist was injured in a collision.
Around 7:45pm on Friday 18th October, the male cyclist was travelling along Normanby Road in Ormesby, towards Cargo Fleet Lane, when a white van reportedly collided with him between Ainstable Road and Allendale Road, causing him to fall from his bike.
The man suffered a broken wrist and was taken to James Cook University Hospital for treatment.
The white van did not stop at the scene.
Police would be keen to speak to any witnesses who saw the collision, or anyone who may have dash cam footage or private CCTV footage of the incident. The cyclist is believed to have been wearing high visibility clothing at the time, with lights on his bike.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Cleveland Police on 101, quoting reference number 200197.
