Officers are appealing for information and any relevant dashcam footage following a vehicle and a motorbike in Middlesbrough.
The collision occurred at around 8.55pm on Saturday 5th October on Cambridge Road in Middlesbrough and involved a black BMW and an orange motorbike.
A man, who is believed to have been a passenger on the bike, suffered serious arm and head injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
The motorbike rider left the scene before police arrival and officers are appealing for that person to contact Cleveland Police.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any relevant dashcam or CCTV footage is also asked to call 101, quoting reference number 191568.
