We’re appealing for information as we investigate the theft of a high value mountain bike.
It is described as a raw alloy (silver) full suspension Privateer 161 with Fox Kashima (gold) rear shock, Hunt wheels and Fox fork, with frame number G20R60835L.
This picture shows it with black rear wheels however they’ve since been changed to gold.
The bike, worth several thousand pounds, was taken from inside a vehicle in Selwyn Drive on Sunday 20th October between 6pm and 10pm.
A white van was seen to pull up beside the vehicle and we would appeal for anyone with information, doorbell, dashcam or private CCTV from the area or anyone who has seen the bike offered for sale to get in touch.
Please contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 201659.
Information can also be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers at www.crimestoppers-uk.org or by phoning them on 0800 555 111.
