After a teenager reportedly made off from mobile patrols in Middlesbrough late yesterday morning, a 16-year-old boy was pursued and detained then arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply a Class A drug. Cash and an amount of crack cocaine was recovered.
Detectives from Middlesbrough CID interviewed the teenager, and he was subsequently charged and remanded to appear at court today.
And in a separate incident where a knife point robbery was reported at Leinster News in the town’s Newport ward early on the morning of 1st October, the detectives arrested and charged a 26-year-old man with robbery, theft and possession of a bladed article. He too was to appear at court today.
