A 19-year-old man who was involved in violent disorder in Hartlepool on 31 July 2024, has been sentenced to 14 months in prison.
On Thursday 17th October 2024, Evan Wilkins-Doyle, from Hartlepool, appeared at Teesside Crown Court where he was sentenced for his part in the disorder in the town.
Evan was part of a crowd of people facing the police line. Evan climbed on a wall and shouted racist abuse while others in his group threw missiles, causing damage and harm in his home town.
He handed himself in at a police station after a photograph was released to the public in an attempt to identify him, along with a number of others.
