At approximately 5:43 pm yesterday, Sunday 15th September, we received a report that after being assaulted by a large group of unknown males, a teenage boy was unconscious in Worcester Street, Middlesbrough.
An ambulance attended and the 17 year old was taken to hospital where he received treatment for what are currently believed to be non life-threatening injuries.
Enquiries are continuing and we would appeal for anyone with information, doorbell, dashcam or private CCTV footage to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 178242.
If you don’t want to speak to police you can pass information anonymously to www.crimestoppers-uk.org or phone them on 0800 555 111.
