Police are appealing for footage and witnesses after a woman was injured.
Around 4.35pm on Tuesday 24th September police were called to Barnaby Close in Eston where a 31-year-old woman had sustained a stab wound.
She was taken by air ambulance to James Cook University Hospital where her condition is described as “stable” and her injuries are not believed to be life threatening at this time.
A 54-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and he remains in police custody.
Officers believe this was an isolated incident and are not currently aware of any risk to the wider community.
Detectives are appealing for anyone with information or any relevant doorbell, dashcam or private CCTV footage from Barnaby Close and neighbouring streets to contact Cleveland Police on the 101 number quoting ref 184260.
